y'all been quiet when izzy was beating shorter former welterweights. Now he fights someone bigger and all I hear is size difference complaints smh
DC everywhere but in the commentary box is likeable.
Nobody in the division is matching up with Izzy in terms of skill… The only way to beat Izzy is to bite down on the mouthpiece, take the leg kicks and over power him..
Alex won’t be able to stay champ at 185. The weight cut is insane and he’s getting older. I hope he can stay active but izzy was probably the most active champ in the ufc currently. Will be interesting how things go in the rematch and moving forward after

True. Preira was bigger and it looks like UFC conspired to hide the difference. Preira was nervous and his lips were shaking when his weight was being measured. He knew he was over weight. Preira should fight Jon Jones who is the same weight. JJ would break him.

Haven't thought about it conclusively, but like baseball (can be lack luster) BUT if you understand the mental chess game between the pitcher and batter.. Its boring if you don't care to pay attention.
Izzy is the reason his fights often are complete lack of pullimg the trigger..
They blame the opponent.. But Izzy is the counter puncher, he stands there more than anyone.. Without any commitments, the opponent HAS the pressure to do something wreckless.
Connor is the same counter puncher.. But HE GOES for it. (no I don't like him)
Even when Izzy got arms wrapped around Alex.. Finally w fighter showed it.. Yes doing nothing but holding and waiting for opponent to do the action.. Alex just threw his hands out,.. Nothing was going on.

What a typical UFC NY NY CARD!! And even then some! I mean WOW !😮 you could make a movie trilogy with all the angles & drama & tension & stakes etc. great fucking card!! I live the UFC & DC as well! Long live the promotion! What a fantastic story and run it all has been. And what a treat it’s been to be there from literally day freaking one! I feel so blessed with the timing of this sport to have been a huge fan even of the dream of MMA since childhood and watching Bruce lee preaching it & bringing it from out of Asian & modern lore to manifest into reality at just the perfect ripe time for n history! Just a hella story/ adventure and ride! I’m a very grateful practitioner/fan/ believer in every part of this awesome journey. And to be able to witness first hand and live the complete total outcome of this drama & the unknown mystery of it all playing out like it did is a RARE FUCKING BLESSING TO BE A PART OF IT ALL AND JUST WITNESS ALL THE WHAT IFS & could’ve beens etc. it’s truly s great honor to be alive in this era/generation and see just how it all washes out.
